Refund policy

1. Return & Exchange Window

  • You may request returns or exchanges within 30 days from the delivery date.

  • For defective or incorrect items, please notify us within 30 days with photos of the item and packaging.

2. Condition Requirements

  • Due to hygiene safety, only unopened, unused items, in their original packaging (including liners, protective film, safety seals, etc.), are eligible for return or exchange.

  • Items marked “Final Sale” (e.g., certain adhesive products) are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless faulty.

3. Exchanges (for Like-for-Like Items)

  • Exchanges are free for like-for-like items within Australia.

  • We’ll send you a prepaid return label, and the replacement will be dispatched with standard shipping at no additional cost.

4. Returns (Change of Mind)

  • Change-of-mind returns are allowed within 30 days only for unopened items.

  • A handling/restocking fee of AUD $6 will apply.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method once the return is received and inspected. Please allow 3–5 business days for processing.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days with your order number and clear images.

  • We’ll cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund.

6. International Orders

  • Currently, we do not offer returns/exchanges on international orders unless the item is faulty. We're working to expand this in future.

7. Gift Cards & Promotional Items

  • Gift cards are non-refundable.

  • Promotional or free gift items (e.g., samples or bundles) are non-returnable unless faulty.

8. How to Process a Return or Exchange

  1. Gather your order number and confirm eligibility.

  2. Email us at contact@thebarebodyshop.com with “Return” or “Exchange” and your order number.

  3. We'll reply with instructions and provide a prepaid label (if applicable).

  4. Return the item in original packaging within the label’s validity period (typically 10 days).

  5. Once inspected, we’ll process your exchange or refund promptly.

9. Right to Refuse

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges that don’t meet eligibility criteria (e.g., worn or opened items, missing packaging, damaged in return postage, etc.).
